Above The Line Photoshop Templates + Tutorial
These Above the Line templates are ready for you to add your athletes and create awesome posters and banners for your team. Easily change the colors and change the motto to whatever your team comes up with. These sports templates include layers of lights, gym floor, fog, basketball hoop, volleyball net and a wrestling mat. Plus, there is a special darkening layer that makes it easy to insert your athletes without having to worry about creating the subjects’ shadows! These templates aren’t just limited to basketball, wrestling and volleyball team posters — they also work great for band and choir posters, dance team posters and more!
The horizontal team template is amazing, but the vertical individual banner makes a pretty bold statement too. Perfect for individual prints for parents or printed as a large vinyl banners for senior night.
Tutorials that explain all the different layer options are included with the downloads. The tutorials also give you tips and suggestions on posing, lighting and inserting your subjects into the templates. Watching the tutorials before you begin will help ensure your team posters turn out amazing!
These templates will reproduce great as sports team posters, huge vinyl banners, and even fine art prints for portrait photographers. Green screen is not required for any Game Changer products. However using green screen (and lighting it correctly) does make extracting a subject quick and easy. Layered photoshop templates can be modified to fit just about any proportion or size you need. So I really like this template and its versatility. I used it for a wrestling league and planned to use it for a basketball league, but was cancelled. The wrestling mat and text layers shapes flow together well with the fog surrounding the player really highlighting the individual!
I was able to change colors pretty easily- however, the Hue/Saturation Slider layers were different on the fog layer betwen the Individual to the Memory Mate and Team sliders. It took me a minute to fix them so I could replicate color settings across all templates easily.
I boosted my images in Camera RAW editor to give a higher contrast to help fit in the template better, the kids really popped!

I have previously purchased several of Ben’s templates and love them all. This template looks like it will be no exception. One of the things I look for in selecting a template to buy is how versitle I think it will be and I think I should be able to use this template for many things. I am excited to do this.

I have been using ben’s templates for about 7 years or so. I used this template for Cheer and Dance from the same school. I used the lights for dance and took them out for cheer, two look but same feel. The girls loved them.
